clear of defects blocks are joined to form a board.the blocks shall be selected without knots. Blocks are surfaced two faces or four faces. These blanks are not surfaced again nor primed or painted after finger jointing since they will be moulded. The length of the finger shall be the range of 6 mm to 8 mm.
Blanks must have the following net dimensions: Thickness = 1-5/16" Width = 5-5/8" Lengths: 91-1/4", 103-1/4", 115-1/4".
Kiln Dried to 10% (range plus or minus 2%).
Specie: Chile radiata pine or from Argentina taeda pine. From China it could be any specie that allows itself to be moulded and nailed.
